Schauer Taylor was organized in 1986, as a Certified Public Accounting firm, to serve primarily the banking and small business sector of central Alabama. Originally located in Homewood, Alabama, the firm moved to its present Vestavia Hills, Alabama, location in 1991. Through the addition of community team members with varying areas of expertise, the firm's depth of experience has now provided its customers with a level of service far beyond its peers. A basic foundation of personal service to individuals and small businesses in tax and financial accounting still remains the core value of the firm allowing for these benefits to be available to growing publicly-held companies still in need of down-to-earth assistance. Beginning as a small local firm with limited services, we now provide highly specialized value to clients all across the United States. The firm is a registered member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy.
